Ribosomes are globular structures, devoid of membrane. are formed chemically by several proteins associated with ribosomal RNA from the nucleolus. May be free in the cytoplasm or attached to the membranes of the endoplasmic reticulum. Some proteins (riboforinas) serve as a link between the two structures.
Its structure is simple: two subunits (a bigger or smaller one) with different sedimentation coefficient.
Its function is solely to be the organelle reader messenger RNA, with orders to assemble the amino acids that form the protein. Organelles are
protein synthesizers.
