past week was held in Santiago de Chile a new version of Recycle Expo. This was marked by the appearance, especially large companies involved in the care of the environment through recycling of materials mostly collected in large quantities.


Although we found very few recycling companies connected to the waste in an ordinary person, we found some data that we will announce them later. Anyway we came across a group of people dedicated to the design of everyday items with different recycled materials that are presented in three parts.

The two toys that you see in the picture above and placed on the left were created mostly with canned drinks and tapas. The right picture however, shows a lamp that reuses the plastic mesh fruit found in any supermarket.

Diaper Punishment Rule

RECYCLE: 7 TO 10 OCTOBER 4 OCTOBER





Between days 7 and 10 October this year, will be held in Santiago de Chile II Minimization Fair organized by the National Environment Commission (CONAMA) . Your physical location will be the Centro Cultural Estación Mapocho and realizrá in conjunction with Environmental Expo 2009.


Its objectives are:
  1. promote technologies and experience of those working in prevention, reduction, reuse, recycling or recovery of waste. (Business center)
  2. Promote to production companies, importers or trading companies that recycle it live or is participating in the project CONAMA REP.
  3. awareness and to inform the community what's happening in Chile and the world with recycling and waste recovery
  4. Show "recycling loop" production, fantastic and post-market consumption.


Those interested in attending, should, from the first day of October until the sixth day, go get your invitations to teatinos 258, center of Santiago, to be eligible to attend this Expo on Saturday, October 10 until 17:00 hrs. The delivery schedule of invitations is from 9:00 to 13:00 am and afternoon from 14:30 to 17:00 hrs.
