Description: Hongo whose hat is characterized by aspect glutinous or sticky after a rain. This hat is yellow-brown when young and darkens with age. It is usually much lighter than Suillus luteus with which confused. Also has never ring on his foot and this foot usually have many black spots (grainy). Also under his hat, the hymenium organized in very small tubes (spongy) exudes when the fruit body is young, a yellowish white milk.
Habitat : is a species that in Chile only associated with radiata pine forest. this fungus is known by the name "Pine Callampa" or "Callampa Yellow" and the first mushroom to appear in the autumn in these forests.
Edibility: is an edible species, good flavor, but did not reach the quality it presents its European cousin Boletus edulis . It is sold and exports to countries in the Northern Hemisphere.
