President Medvedev did not explain the reasons for the dismissal of Admiral Nikolai Borisov from his post, but as a military analyst at the end seemed linked to the talks for the acquisition of Mistral. However, Defence Ministry sources said that the dismissal was for domestic reasons and that the same decree of dismissal, there were other changes in military commands.
